GUESS WHAT? Today I was a real helper boy and I did so many little things around the house while you were taking word time. Here are some things I did while you weren’t looking.

I sorted fruits like an old man at the market place. It was fun… till Mercy got angry at me for sticking the orange in my mouth. I was a bit disappointed that Mercy didn’t think eating oranges was fun.

Later on I found this large thing in the middle of the hallway that looked kind of fun to play with. Sometimes you bring it into the room and it’s super loud…  I also see Mike D. and Auntie Joy using it around the house. I wanted to try to “use-it” so Mercy turned the noise on and I scrubbed the floor. It was quite exciting for me and I felt like a big boy.

Next, I went downstairs to Faithy’s room and found Grandpa’s old slippers that were left out. I thought that was a horrible sample to the visitors that were learning to speak English (with Grandma; Shes an excellent teacher). So I picked up those big heavy slipper and I put them in the shelf all by myself. Mercy was very happy and started making a funny sound like “yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaeeeeeh! GOOOOOD BOOOY!” and was clapping her hands very much. I thought she looked really silly and funny so I started smiling at her.

It was almost lunch, but there was a few minutes left so I helped Faithy to beat the meringue for the cake she was making. It was a very very very purple cake! No food coloring! 100 percent natural!

HERE YOU GO! Ready to stick into the oven.

Hey mom, I’m a big boy don’t you think?

–Love, Patty
